The purpose of this letter is to outline the scope of the agreement writing services [FREELANCER NAME] will appear to Hendry & Company.
Services to be provided
[FREELANCER NAME] agrees to write a four-page brochure that describes the engineering services Hendry & Company. Information for brochures will be provided, in a timely manner, through the company's existing materials as well as through interviews with Mr. Hendry and right Hendry & Company other staff.
Hendry & Company 1) will give you all the photographs, charts and other graphics to be included in the brochure, and 2) be responsible for printing and other production costs associated with the brochure.
Charge
The service will be conducted at a rate of $ 60 per hour. I estimate that this project will take between 25 to 40 hours and costs between $ 1500 to $ 2400. If less than 25 hours is required, Hendry & Company will be charged only for the actual hours [FREELANCER NAME] worked on the project.
Surcharge
Cost estimates described above, including the first draft and the editing of a four-page brochure. Hour for additional editing and / or brochures will again be billed at a rate of $ 60 per hour.
All hours over a maximum estimated project (40 hours) in the Fees section must be approved in writing by Hendry & Company.
Timeline
[FREELANCER NAME] will provide a first draft of a brochure for Hendry & Company by Wednesday, April 26. The final edited version (including hard copy and computer disk in Word) will be delivered on Monday, May 2nd during Hendry & Company staff members available the right time to discuss changes to the original.
Terms of payment
$ 750 will be paid to [FREELANCER NAME] within five days after the signing of this agreement. Hendry & Company will be billed to the balance at the end of the project (2 tentative May) and full payment will be due within 15 days.
